The Primitive Porch






Decorating your porch in the primitive style can be the coziest place in your home.


I found an old sifter in my shed that I hung on the wall and added birdhouses, a nest filled with a couple of eggs and a tin watering can. 



 

Another tip I have is to do a puzzle and then frame it and hang it on one of your porch walls.  This one is called "Second Hand Rose" and I thought it fit it perfectly with my primitive theme!



 
 

I found this old flowers and plants chalkboard at a yard sale and just had to put it up in my prim porch!




 


Just keep in mind anything old will work on a primitive porch.  Old watering cans look cute sitting on the floor,  a basket  with your favorite magazines or even a rolled up quilt for those chilly nights.
