Primitive Frame

I found a couple of old wooden frames in a yard sale, took them home and tried to decide how I was going to use them in my prim home.  I was going to use them separately, but then I got the idea to place one on top of the other and nail them together. I really liked this effect. One is a little bit larger than the other so you can really see both frames.



Then I took a piece of foam board and covered it with some burlap.   I then nailed it to the back of the back of the frame giving it a nice prim look.



You can either place prim items on the frame itself or place a pin right through the corkboard and hang a favorite prim picture.



Don't forget about the top of the frame for displaying prim items also.



I have this frame hanging on a wall in my hallway.  It gives it just a touch of primitive that I love!
