Room by Room Primitive Decorating
"As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness."

Primitive decorating is a feeling of warmth and simplicity. It speaks to our very soul and brings us back to a time of quiet, uncomplicated living.
On our journey to primitive decorating we will be giving tips and ideas on how to best use color, textures and everyday items to make our home a place of peace and comfort.
Each room of the home will have original ideas on reusing items found at yard sales, thrift shops, and even in our own attics and basements.
My own personal pictures will be used so you might see just what makes a primitive home so special and how one old piece can be transformed into something totally different and appealing.
Many of the primitive items on this website can be used in several different rooms of the home.
I truly believe there isn’t just one way to decorate in the “primitive” style. Old fabrics, crates, raffia, twine, buttons and old picture frames can be arranged in any way you’d like to give your home that “lived in” feel.
So sit back, relax and enjoy “Room by Room Primitive Decorating” as much as I do in creating it.
