Hello!

My name is Dianne and  I love decorating my home in the primitive style.


Whether it be for spring, summer, fall or winter, there's just something about the warmth and coziness of a primitive home.


I live with my son Mike and my 2 cats, Zion and Snow.


I've had my own childcare business out of my home for 18 years!  I love children and am the proud grandmother of Julian, 9 and Jayden 5. 


My daughter is also blessing me with another grandchild due on Christmas day.


I use my own pictures from my home to give you some tips and ideas on decorating your primitive home using everyday items you probably have tucked away in a garage or attic.


I live in the beautiful state of Rhode Island in a little town named Pawtucket. 


It's the home of the Pawtucket Red Sox and is rich with culture and heritage.


I'm within walking distance to Slater Park, a beautiful park owned by the Daggett family since the early 1700's.


The Daggett house is a beautiful old home situated in Slater Park and is available for tours throughout the summer.
